Experts Live Denmark is the biggest Microsoft in-person community event in Denmark - and we need your help in delivering technical sessions, workshops, panel discussions moderator and 1:1 Ask The Expert sessions.

Conference happens over 2 days:

  • Pre-day: 24th Feb 2025 - Master Class Training (7 hr), Workshops (2,5 hr)
  • Main event: 25th Feb 2025 - Technical Sessions (50/60 min), Panel discussions moderator (60 min), 1:1 Ask The Expert (30 min)

The 750 participants attending our recent event, ELDK25 included 52% IT Pros, 23% Cloud Architects, 17% Managers, 8% Developers. Participants came from 15 countries.

For ELDK26, we aim for 1150 participants at the biggest event venue in Denmark; Bella Center Copenhagen - only 5 min from the airport and easy accessible by car or train.

We are looking for brilliant speakers that can deliver content in one of these forms: technical sessions, deep-dive workshops and panel discussions moderator


Option 1: Technical Sessions

  • 48 sessions with length of 60 min
  • 5 sessions with length of 50 min (morning, 7:20-8:10)
  • Give audience a deep introduction to topic with lots of demos - and time for questions (5-10 min) during the session
  • Preferable Level 400 (Expert) - or level 300 (Advanced).  No level 200 (intro), please !
  • "Less Powerpoint, More Demos" - Give them both side of the coins; good & bad !
  • Session Tracks: Security, Microsoft 365, AI, Modern workplace, Development, Azure, AVD/W365, Identity, Data, Automation
  • Language must be English


Option 2: Workshops

  • 9 sessions with length of 2,5 hours (incl. breaks)
  • Goal: Give enough time for attendees to deep-dive into learning the topic - with hands-on labs that can be run of from their own laptop
  • Maximum of 25-35 participants per session
  • Speaker/instructor is responsible for creating lab-environment/material/labs, so participants can do labs from their own laptop
  • School-class setup, so each attendee can bring their laptop and sit at table
  • Spoken Language must be English, but Danish can be accepted, if all participants are from Denmark

  • Identity - Conditional Access, PIM, Authentication Methods
  • Defender XDR & Sentinel
  • Learn how to master Kusto like a ninja
  • How to build your own AI agents
  • Data protection and management with Purview
  • Learn Intune Autopilot v2
  • Automation - get started with bicep


Option 3: Panel Discussions Moderator

  • 4 sessions with length of 45 min
  • Moderator will typically be required to facilitate 2 panel discussions (2x45 min)
  • Prepare questions for panel members + Prep panel members about questions/discussions in advance
  • Moderate panel discussions with 2-4 participants on stage + moderate questions from the audience
  • As audience are Executives including CIOs, IT Managers, CTO, CISO, choice of wordings and communication must address this audience
  • Questions and topics could address topis like organizational transformation, cost, politics, tough learnings, etc.
  • Language must be English
  • If moderator has connections to potential panel members like customer cases, this can be really great !

Panel Discussions ideas:

  • Case: learnings from the field (AI agents)
  • Case: learnings from the field (AI adoption)
  • Ask Microsoft’s CEO Mette the Tough Questions
  • Microsoft Security & Compliance - SFI, NIS2/DORA Compliance


Limitations:

  • We will accept a maximum of 4 sessions per speaker, allowing to submit into multiple categories (session, workshop, master class, etc.) Please fill in one session form per session. 


Important information

  • Sessions which haven't been delivered at other events are highly preferred.
  • Our attendees are joining this event for (deep) technical knowledge sessions, level "advanced" (300) and Expert (400)
  • Speakers may be selected for an extra 1:1 Ask The Expert session together with another speaker. Attendees can pre-book 1:1 sessions to discuss problems, issues, advisory - with a timeslots of 30 min. If speaker is selected for 1:1 Ask The Expert session, you are required to participate for 60 min
  • We aim for a program with as much diversity as possible, please share and motivate speakers around you to submit a session.
  • Commercial content is not allowed
  • Make sure that you use an appealing title for your session, and write a clear session description of what our visitors can expect when they visit your session
  • Make sure to properly "tag" your session
  • If you are an inexperienced speaker, but want to take this opportunity to speak for a large audience, consider teaming with a more experienced speaker on the same topic.
  • Session recordings will not be available.
  • The primary conference language is English


Cost Coverage

  • Our budget doesn’t allow for transportation cost of speaker participation.
  • We will arrange and cover 1 night hotel cost for speakers that will check-in on the day before (2 night for master class and speakers doing workshop on pre-day).
  • We would like to invite speakers for an appreciation dinner on the evening of February 24th, 2026 at 18:00/6pm


What we expect from you as a speaker

By submitting a session, we also expect something in return if you are selected:

  • Usage of our PowerPoint template. We might send updates to some slides afterwards asking you to integrate them into your presentation (sponsor slides/evaluation etc.)
  • Your availability during the conference, as we really prefer our speakers to be approachable before and after their sessions. We will provide speaker room, but attendees want to meet you, so use this opportunity to meet and engage with the attendees.
  • Your help in promoting the event (#ELDK26), by blogging and using your social media channels to advertise that you are one of our speakers. We will provide you with some additional material to help you with that.
  • You will be given a speaker-polo to wear during the event.
  • You must upload presentation in advance to allow attendees to check-out presentation before finalizing their own schedule for the event. Details are shown in the dates section below.


Important dates/deadlines

  • 5th Sept 2025 (or earlier): Notifications of selected speaker. We will ask selected speakers to accept their attendance to the event. Speaker is not allowed to announce selection until event organizers have announced selected speakers on LinkedIn, X/Twitter.
  • 12th Sept 2025: Deadline for speaker acceptance
  • 14th Sept 2025: We will start to onboard speakers into our event-system Zoho. Invitations will come as email to onboard speaker.
  • 19th Sept 2025: We will inform speakers who has not been selected
  • 26th Sept 2025: Speaker must validate speaker profile on Zoho Backstage (event system). You will receive invite once you confirmation your speaking engagement.
  • 1st Oct 2025: Update your speaker profile information on Sessionize dashboard (travel, hotel, speaker dinner, polo, etc.)
  • 15. Jan. 2026: First PPT draft due. Upload file to ELDK26 Presentations folder + send confirmation email to to info@expertslive.dk
  • 15. Feb 2026: Final presentation must be uploaded to ELDK26 Presentations folder, so attendees can check-out the slides.
