Experts Live Europe is a technical conference and focuses primarily on Microsoft technologies. We invite you to submit sessions on Microsoft cloud, datacenter, security, modern workplace, AI, user adoption and soft skills topics.

Session Details

• All sessions are 100% in English
• Breakout sessions are 50 minutes
• Breakout sessions are scheduled during the main conference on September 24 and September 25 (September 23 is the pre-conference day with pre-selected workshops)
• You can invite a co-speaker
• You can submit up to 4 session proposals
• Sessions should be technical (no marketing/no sales/no vendor promo/no vendor logos)
• We are looking for a mix of all levels from level 100-400 so we can offer our attendees a variety of sessions introductory as well as deep technical. The levels stand for: 

Level 100:

Introductory and overview material. Assumes little or no expertise with topic and covers topic concepts, functions, features, and benefits.

Level 200:

Intermediate material. Assumes 100-level knowledge and provides specific details about the topic.

Level 300:

Advanced material. Assumes 200-level knowledge, in-depth understanding of features in a real-world environment, and strong coding skills. Provides a detailed technical overview of a subset of product/technology features, covering architecture, performance, migration, deployment, and development.

Level 400:

Expert material. Assumes a deep level of technical knowledge and experience and a detailed, thorough understanding of topic. Provides expert-to-expert interaction and coverage of specialized topics.

Speaker Expectations

If you get selected as a speaker, we kindly ask you to agree to the following commitments:

• Be present on both main conference days September 24 and 25 at the event 
• Support the conference marketing activities (e.g. write a blog, like & share conference posts on social media, promote in your network etc.) to help us reach a broader network together
• Be present in the expo area during conference breaks at the speakers booth so attendees can easily find you and approach you during the event
• Great preparation and delivery of your session(s) - attendees come to learn from you, the expert :)

Reimbursement

As a speaker you can book our recommended hotel connected with the venue / or any hotel of your choice and reimburse up to EUR 130,- per speaker per night to cover for your accommodation costs. We kindly ask for your understanding that we do not cover other forms of travel (e.g. flights, trains, car, taxi, private jets, space ships, warp pipes etc.)

Next steps

The Call for Speakers is open from January 19 until February 19. Our evaluation team will review each and every session submission carefully and decide what variety of sessions fit best on our agenda. Please keep in mind, that due to the high volume of submissions and the limited slots – we unfortunately don’t have the capacity to accept everyone as much as we would love to include everyone.
