FABCON is the largest conference dedicated to Microsoft Fabric, bringing together tech enthusiasts, innovators, and industry leaders to explore the future of data, analytics, business intelligence, governance, and AI integration. Call For Speakers Guidelines:

Thanks for your interest in contributing to our event. To support a thoughtful and effective selection process, we’ve outlined key directives and best practices below—please read them carefully before submitting.  You may submit up to 2 workshops.  You may also submit up to 2 sessions here.

1. Diverse Voices and Topics:

We are committed to representing the full spectrum of our audience. This means we seek workshops from speakers of diverse backgrounds, covering a wide range of industries, perspectives, and levels of technical expertise.

2. Tailored Content Focus:

Workshops should focus on practical application and depth—covering how things work, how to implement solutions, and lessons from real-world scenarios.

Your title and abstract should reflect this focus with clarity and purpose.

3. Audience Alignment:

To create the most meaningful experience for attendees, we ask that all sessions be designed with specific audience personas in mind. This ensures your content resonates deeply and delivers practical value.

Please tailor your session to speak to one or more of the following personas:

  • IT Professional
  • Developer
  • Data Scientist
  • Business Decision Maker
  • Data Engineer
  • Database Admin (DBA)
  • Software Developer
  • Software Architect
  • Developer Decision Maker

Clarity on your target audience helps us position your session effectively and ensures it reaches the right people.

4. Submit on Time:

Non-Microsoft Community Speakers are entitled to the following compensation: 1 4-day Pass, 4 or 5 nights hotel accommodations depending on workshop day and a $2500 speaker fee. This payment will be made as an independent contractor arrangement, and you will be responsible for any applicable taxes. U.S.-based speakers must submit a completed IRS Form W-9 before payment can be processed.
