Ververica, the organizers of Flink Forward, invite you to speak at Flink Forward Barcelona 2025, the premier data streaming event.

Flink Forward is where the global community gathers to explore cutting-edge topics in stream processing, real-time analytics, event-driven applications, AI, and mission-critical Flink deployments.

Who Should Apply?

Speaking at Flink Forward Barcelona 2025 is a great way to connect with your peers, become involved in the streaming data community, and to share your story of the future of streaming, and real-time data.

Talks should be informative, interesting, educational, and thought-provoking. If you’re talking about a specific product, please note that straight commercial pitches will not be selected. 

Submissions

We’re seeking talks on all aspects of streaming technologies; event-driven applications, real-time analytics, streaming architecture, AI and ML in real-time projects, true use cases, the management of mission-critical Flink deployments, and other real-time systems are welcome. Our tracks themes will be Technology Deep Dives, Use Cases, Real-Time Intelligence and AI, Use Cases, Customer Stories, and Ecosystem. 

Topics for consideration:

Developing Real-Time Applications:

All things related to building applications with streaming technologies. Development practices, testing, scaling, etc. 

Real-Time Intelligence and AI:

AI and ML is everywhere, and often powered by real-time streaming data. Talk about emerging trends , edge-based streaming architectures, agentic reasoning, real-time use cases and more.

Streaming Technologies:

From introductory talks to technical deep dives about the state of the art in streaming. 

Architecture:

Integrations and connectors that, alongside a Flink deployment, create unique architectures for solving innovative use cases. 

Use/Case Studies - Solution Story:

How has streaming been used in your business? Why did they adopt it? What problems did it solve (or create)? What lessons did you learn that might help others on a similar journey? 

Operations and Observability:

Share your successes, learning opportunities, and experience with operating a streaming pipeline or streaming technologies, both in the cloud and on-premises. 

Pipelines Done Right:

Streaming ETL, Batch Pipelines, or everything in between!

Real-Time Analytics:

What uses does a real-time dashboard serve, and how are you building them? Do you even need data in really real-time for analytics? 

Academia and Beyond:

Have a history or theory lesson to share that include data streaming, applications of real-time data in academic studies, and more? Submit your talk for consideration! 

Submit your ideas, perspectives, and thought-provoking discussions that will ensure attendees have both a good time and send them home better-informed and more capable than they came. Stand out by submitting relevant, creative, entertaining and engaging new proposals. Have a lot of ideas? We’re looking forward to seeing them all! Please submit a separate entry for each topic.

All sessions will be 30-minute stage presentations (including an optional 5-10 mins Q&A)
