FooConf Helsinki is a one or two day event with focus on developers. A conference for the community to get together and share knowledge and get information on the latest news on technology from world-known speakers.
7 November would be a conference day and we will potential add a 6 November as a day of half-days hands-on-labs.

FooConf second edition will happen November 7th in Helsinki, Finland. This is a 1 day event with 3 parallels tracks.
Presentation slots are 45 minutes including 5 minutes for questions (e.g. actual presentation should be ~40 minutes). Lightning talks are ~10 minutes.

Commercial policy
Sessions are not to be used by individuals marketing or selling products, consulting, or other services. This policy does not prevent product users from referring to specific commercial products, nor does it prevent user roundtable discussions regarding specific products, but the focus on the presentation should not be product related.

The last day for submitting proposals is 31 May!
We will start selecting talks as soon as we get good proposals. You will maximize your chance for a speaking slot at FooConf if you submit early.
We will get back to you as soon as we have decided which presentations that will be accepted for FooConf.
