Share your expertise at Volatility's 2025 From the Source Summit!

The Volatility Foundation invites submissions for our second year of our acclaimed From The Source (FTSCon) summit – where tool creators and threat hunters converge to advance the field of digital investigation.

FTSCon has two parallel tracks:

  • The MAKER track is focused on the “makers” who build the open-source tools relied upon by modern digital investigators.
  • The HUNTER track highlights the “hunters” who have contributed to some of the most interesting investigations of the past year.

WHAT WE'RE SEEKING

We welcome proposals highlighting:

  • Novel memory forensics techniques and methodologies
  • New tools or significant improvements to existing frameworks
  • Real-world case studies of notable threat investigations
  • Advanced malware analysis discoveries
  • Memory forensics in non-traditional environments (IoT, cloud, containers)
  • Emerging challenges in digital evidence acquisition and analysis

WHY PRESENT AT FTS?

  • Direct Impact: Present to the actual practitioners and developers who will implement your techniques
  • Focused Audience: Connect with a dedicated community of digital investigators rather than general security professionals
  • Technical Depth: Share complex methodologies with an audience that appreciates technical sophistication
  • Community Recognition: Establish yourself among the pioneers pushing digital forensics forward
