GCCD 2024 is set to be an incredible event, scheduled for Saturday, August 24th. We are thrilled to announce that the venue will be disclosed shortly. Our goal is to make this year's event even more remarkable, turning it into a tech "festival" that surpasses all our previous achievements!

We are actively seeking smart, innovative, and dynamic speakers who can contribute to the festivities this year. If you have valuable insights to share, we encourage you to submit your session details. Sessions are expected to run for approximately 15-40 minutes, and we are open to a variety of formats. Please provide a clear and concise description below, and we will reach out to discuss further.

We are not imposing strict restrictions on who can apply to be a speaker at the event. However, please understand that the final decision on speaker selection will rest with the organizing team of GDG Cloud Tvpm. We will make an effort to inform everyone about the status of their application. If you do not receive a response by the specified dates, kindly assume that we were unable to accommodate you this year. Nevertheless, please know that there's always an opportunity for the future. We also host other events throughout the year and may reach out to you for those as well.

Session Formats

We offer two session formats for you to choose from:

  • Conference Session (30-45 minutes, including Q&A): This format allows you to deliver a technical talk that covers a wide array of technologies, practices, and methodologies. It's a comprehensive format that provides an in-depth exploration of your chosen subject.

Topics

If you're unsure about what to talk about or what might captivate our audience, consider these topic suggestions for inspiration:

  • Google Cloud Platform
  • Machine Learning/TensorFlow
  • AI
  • Kubernetes
  • Cloud security

These suggestions can serve as a starting point, but feel free to propose topics that align with your expertise and passion. We encourage a wide range of subjects that can engage and educate our audience

Proposals that do not fit!

We are particularly keen on experience-based talks, and we kindly request that you refrain from submitting proposals that fall into the following categories:

🚫 Mere Repetition of Documentation: We are looking for talks that draw from your experience and lessons learned. Please avoid proposals that simply reiterate existing documentation.

🚫 Sales or Product Pitches: While it's acceptable to mention your company, your talk should not primarily revolve around selling a product or promoting a company. We aim for content that provides valuable insights rather than promotional material.

🚫 Recruitment Talks: Our focus is on knowledge-sharing, so we discourage talks that aim solely at attracting talent or recruiting for specific roles.

🚫 Duplicate Topics: We are interested in fresh and unique content. Please refrain from submitting the exact same talk topic that you've previously delivered and can be readily found online.

🚫 Plagiarized Presentations: We uphold the highest standards of integrity and originality. Therefore, we will not accept talks that consist of stolen or plagiarized content."

Points to note

Before you submit your proposal, please consider the following points:

  • About the Audience:

Our target audience primarily consists of IT professionals and student developers. While the conference caters to developers, it also welcomes participants from various other domains, including designers, product specialists, and non-technical individuals.

  • Selection Process:

If your session is chosen, you can expect to receive a confirmation email immediately . Be sure to keep an eye on your inbox (including your spam folder, just in case) for this important communication.

Your proposal should align with the diverse interests and backgrounds of our audience, making it an enriching experience for all participants
