Call for Submissions: International Women's Day: "Impact the Future"

As we approach International Women’s Day (IWD), we are excited to launch our largest annual campaign, celebrating the achievements and potential of women in technology. This year, under the theme "Impact the Future," we aim to highlight the influential role women play in shaping the technological and societal landscapes, especially at a time when artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly pivotal.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Theme Relevance: Your submission must align with our 2024 theme, "Impact the Future." We are looking for contributions that not only reflect on how women can influence the future of technology but also demonstrate the practical applications of this vision through AI, innovation, and creative problem-solving.
  2. Abstract Requirements:Please provide a concise abstract, limited to two paragraphs, telling us about your chosen topic related to the theme. Your abstract should serve as a compelling overview that highlights the relevance and impact of your session.
  3. Social Media Images: Accompany your submission with high-quality images that represent your work. These images will be featured on our social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook, to promote your contribution and inspire others. Ensure that the images meet the following criteria:

            - Resolution: 1080p or higher Format: JPEG or PNG

            - Orientation: Square (1:1) or portrait (4:5) for optimal  display on social media feeds

Participation in IWD and Women Techmakers Events

By submitting your work, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your ideas and research at various global events celebrating International Women's Day. From large-scale summits to intimate workshops, these gatherings are designed to foster connections, educate, and inspire the tech community. Participating in these events is a chance to contribute to our mission of empowering women in technology to thrive and make a lasting impact on the future.
