Then don’t miss the 2025 Devfest: It’s a fun & welcoming not-for-profit conference, made for and run by developers and led by GDG Sydney. This year, we are bringing together world-class speakers to stimulate your mind and host a fantastic event with a strong focus on non-male speakers and speakers who have not given a talk at DevFest Sydney in the past two years.

Devfest is powered by a shared belief that when developers come together to exchange ideas, amazing things can happen! Join a vibrant and diverse community where everyone can network, share knowledge, and enjoy the experience.

Diversity and inclusion are big initiatives for us at GDG Sydney. We are giving more priority to non-male speakers.

About GDG Sydney

The Google Developer Group (GDG) Sydney is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run organisation supported by Google, but it is not directly under the company. GDG Sydney/GDG Cloud Sydney supports community, collaboration, and craft. A tech community that organises events like monthly meetups, Build with AI events, and full-day conferences like Google I/O Extended and Devfest.

These events are designed to foster collaboration among community members, enabling them to grow their craft by learning while supporting Google’s technologies and adhering to the GDG Code of Conduct. All of our events are open to all; we welcome attendees from all levels of experience. Most of the events are free of charge, and even if there is a cost, we offer a discounted ticket for students.

What is DevFest?

DevFest is the world's largest community-driven tech conference, bringing together passionate developers from around the globe.  DevFest is focused on community building and learning about Google’s technologies.
