Georgiana Wright is a rising junior majoring in Computer Science at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University where she explores data science and bioinformatics in underserved health communities. Prior to attending Alabama A&M University, she was a bioinformatics software developer intern at HudsonAlpha Institute of Biotechnology and became a 2018 Google Generation Scholar. One of her passions is her machine learning research project, ANGEL SCAN, which was featured in Coding It Forward and published in the Journal of Alabama Academy of Sciences. She currently represents her university as a Google Research Scholar, a MLT Career Prep Fellow, and a Rewriting the Code Fellow. When she isn't working or doing research, she is sleeping or playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons on her Nintendo Switch.
