Audience
The Global AI Conference is an event to help attendees start their AI journey. There will be a track focussed on students and one on a general developer audience.

We are looking for the following types of talks and participation:

  • Talks sharing research or practical projects in the field of AI. Capstone projects, course projects, fun project - all are welcome!
  • Introductory level talks on different AI topics - from learning machine learning to responsible AI.
  • Talks related to career in the field of AI
  • Talks sharing specific product.
  • Taking part in roundtables and discussing topics such as "the best way to learn ML" and "do you need to know math to be a successful AI developer"

How do we select the speakers?
We have a panel of reviewers with different backgrounds and perspectives. The proposals are presented to the reviewers, who then review each submission and add a comment. Once the review is finished, the next phase starts by discussing the top proposals. The decision is made based on the time slots available and the diversity of the topics.

As much as we want to accept as many proposals as possible, we are not always able to confirm a time slot for each of the proposals that received a positive review.

What format does the presentation have?
The sessions are planned to be 25 - 40 minutes long plus 5 minutes Q&A with the help of a moderator.

When can I expect to hear back from you?
01 July 2023 -- Call for Speakers open
15 October 2023 -- Call for Speakers closes
1 November 2023 -- Communication of results

We believe that a diverse environment fosters creativity, knowledge sharing, and innovation. In recent years, we have been actively seeking to increase the diversity of the attendees and speakers through the active support of a diverse speaker lineup.

In this year’s event, we aim to feature speakers from different backgrounds, genders, and geographic locations in addition to a variety of organisations. We encourage people from all backgrounds, abilities, and experiences to submit their proposals.
