Welcome to Global Azure Athens 2026!

Global Azure Athens is a proudly community‑driven event organized by members of the Greek Microsoft MVP Community and supported by local user groups and volunteers. Every year, communities around the world unite to deliver the Global Azure experience — a celebration of learning, sharing, and exploring the latest in Microsoft Azure and Cloud technologies.

On April 18th, 2026, we will gather in Athens for a full, in‑person, one‑day event dedicated to Azure. Expect a vibrant atmosphere, passionate attendees, and a strong focus on practical, real‑world knowledge.

We invite speakers from Greece, Europe, and around the world to submit sessions that inspire, educate, and empower the Azure community.

We welcome sessions across the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including but not limited to:

Technical Levels

We accept sessions up to Level 300

100 Level: Intended for those just starting out with a technology, this level covers introductory and core topics. The sessions focus on building a strong foundational knowledge and a clear grasp of basic concepts.

200 Level: Aimed at learners who already understand the fundamentals, this level helps participants expand their skills. The content explores the technology in greater depth through more detailed and specialized sessions.

300 Level: Designed for professionals with substantial experience, this level addresses advanced material. Courses and certifications focus on complex concepts, real-world applications, and challenging scenarios.

Submission Tips:

Craft a compelling title—it’s the first impression your submission will make.

Your abstract should clearly explain what your session is about, why it matters, how it will be delivered, and who it’s for. Remember, this is what will draw attendees to your session if it gets selected.

Double-check your title and abstract for grammar and spelling mistakes to ensure a polished submission.

Make sure your title and abstract accurately reflect the topic or technology area of the track you’re applying for.

Format

- 45‑minute sessions (including Q&A)

- In‑person only— all speakers must be onsite in Athens on April 18th

- English‑language sessions preferred, but Greek sessions are also welcome depending on audience interest

Important Notes for Speakers

• This is a free, non‑profit community event.
• We do not provide travel, accommodation, or speaker fees.

As a community‑run initiative, we operate with zero ticket revenue and limited sponsorships that cover only event essentials (venue, coffee, snacks, swag etc.).
