Global Azure 2023 is a 3-day worldwide event dedicated to knowledge and learning about all things Azure. People of all skillsets and levels of knowledge come together to share in their learnings through sessions lead by expert community members and leaders around the globe.
From May 11th-13th communities will come together in the sixth edition of the virtual Global Azure event!
In support of the Azure community in the New York metro area, an in-person event will be held on May 11th, from 2pm-8pm EST at the Microsoft Reactor in New York City. The event is organized in conjunction with the AzureNYC Meetup group and is part of the larger Global Azure 2023 bootcamp.
Speakers will have a chance to present to an in-person audience as well as have support for streaming of their content and presentation through Microsoft Reactor (details still being worked out).
Further details for the event, such as details for attendance, will be posted on the Global Azure New York City site, https://globalazure.net/communities/2023/AzureNewYorkCity, as they materialize.
Sessions can cover anything under the Microsoft Azure umbrella. Additional technologies (such as PowerApps, Microsoft 365) will be considered as long as they have some session component that ties into Azure. Potential topic areas include: Security, Data & AI, PaaS on Azure, IaaS on Azure, DevOps, Development, ITPro, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, SaaS on Azure, Cloud Services, Inspirational.
Sessions can be Introductory, Intermediate or Advanced in topic. Please take note that the in-person audience may be generalized in nature.
Sessions will be 50 minutes in length, the session submitter can choose to provide as much or as little time for Q&A within the session. As this event is limited to one evening, we only have spots available for five speakers.
You will be delivering the session in-person at the Microsoft Reactor New York (Microsoft 11 Times Square Office). The session should be designed to support streaming of the content. As such, any supporting materials or needs (such as whiteboarding) should be prepared to be delivered digitally (in this example using Microsoft Whiteboard). While this is a global streaming event, to accommodate in-person audience, it is requested that all sessions are delivered in English.
Your session submission information, such as description, as well as your submitter information such as your bio, will be used to list your session on the Global Azure site, https://globalazure.net/sessions.
Remember - the more detail in your session submission, the better!
