Join us for Global Security Bootcamp Adelaide 2026, a free, full-day, in-person community event for anyone passionate about protecting modern digital environments.

Hosted by the Global Security Community Adelaide Chapter, this event brings together security practitioners, Microsoft professionals, cloud architects, consultants, IT teams, students, and community members for a day of practical learning, local connection, and real-world security discussions.

Building on the success of the Perth 2025 event, the Adelaide Bootcamp will focus on the challenges organisations are facing right now: securing identities, defending endpoints, detecting threats, governing data, managing cloud risk, preparing for AI-enabled attacks, and building resilient security practices across Microsoft environments.

Adelaide is the perfect place for this conversation. South Australia has a growing cyber ecosystem across government, defence, space, health, education, critical infrastructure, and emerging technology. This Bootcamp is designed to bring that community together, share what is working in the field, and help strengthen the cyber capability of our local organisations.

Expect practical sessions, demos, case studies, technical deep dives, and lessons learned from people who are building, defending, governing, and improving Microsoft-centric environments every day.

Whether you are deep in Microsoft Sentinel, rolling out Defender XDR, designing Conditional Access policies, uplifting Essential Eight maturity, securing AI adoption, or just looking to meet others in the Adelaide security community, this event is for you.

Come for the content. Stay for the community. Leave with ideas you can take back to your organisation on Monday.

Global Security BootCamp Adelaide 2026 is a one-day, in-person community event bringing together Microsoft security professionals, practitioners, consultants and architects to share real-world experience in securing Microsoft environments across cloud, hybrid and on-premises estates.

Adelaide has a growing and diverse security community across government, defence, space, education, health, critical infrastructure, managed services and the broader technology sector. This event is about bringing that community together to share practical lessons, technical insights and honest field experience.

We’re looking for 30-minute breakout sessions covering topics such as:

Identity and access management
Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, identity governance, passkeys, Zero Trust access and hardening identity platforms.

Endpoint and threat protection
Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Intune, endpoint hardening, attack surface reduction, detection engineering and response lessons.

Cloud workload security
Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure security, Microsoft Sentinel, secure landing zones, Bicep/ARM guardrails, policy-as-code and cloud governance.

Secure DevOps
GitHub Advanced Security, DevSecOps pipelines, infrastructure-as-code security, secure software delivery and protecting developer workflows.

AI security and governance
Security for Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio agents, AI adoption risks, prompt injection, data oversharing, Purview, Microsoft Security Copilot and responsible AI security practices.

Zero Trust, compliance and governance
Zero Trust architecture, Essential Eight uplift, Microsoft Purview, audit, compliance, risk management, security operations and practical governance approaches.

Hands-on demos, case studies and war stories
Real examples from the field, including what worked, what failed, what surprised you, and what others can learn from your experience.

Or suggest something interesting. If it helps people better secure, defend, govern or understand Microsoft environments, we’d love to hear it.

Whether you’re an engineer, consultant, security architect, defender, admin, developer or governance specialist, if you’ve built, defended, hardened, governed or recovered a Microsoft environment and can share lessons learned, this is your stage.
