プロポーザルを出す上での注意点

プロポーザルは1人につき1つまでとさせていただきます。

セッションタイプ

2024年はオフラインで開催をします。そのため、オンライン・録画でのセッションは受け付けません。

2トラックで以下のセッションを行います。

• Long Session : 40分
• Short Session : 20分
• Lightning Talk : 5分
• Challenge Session※ : 20分

※チャレンジセッションは以下に該当する方のセッションです。

チャレンジセッションに応募する方は、応募時に該当する理由を記載してください。

• Goでの登壇が初めての方
• 日本語以外でGoの登壇をする方
• Goに関連したプロジェクトに貢献した方

言語

日本語/英語どちらでも可能です。

審査基準

プロポーザルは以下の基準によって審査されます。

• Goとの関連性 : Goコミュニティに関連したトピックにしてください。Go Conferenceは、Goのカンファレンスであり、参加者もGoに関するトピックを期待しています。
• 明瞭性 : セッションの内容を明確に記載してください。
• 正確性 : Goのエキスパートのようでなくても、過去の経験から正しいGoに関する知見を共有してください。
• 達成可能性 : 時間以内にしっかり伝えられる内容にしてください。
• インパクト: 参加者がセッションから何か新しいアイデア、技術、ツール、情報を得られるものにしてください

選定基準はGopherConをベースにしています。

補足

入門したばかりの方のセッションも大歓迎です。

他の言語への批判や過度なプロダクトの説明は控えていただき、技術的な内容をお願いします。

Important notice on proposal submission

The number of proposal submissions is limited to one per person.

Session types

No online or recorded sessions will be accepted for this event.
This year's Go Conference 2024 will be held offline.

We have two tracks for talk sessions that includes the following types:

• Long Sessions: 40 minutes
• Short Sessions: 20 minutes
• Lightning Talks: 5 minutes
  
• Challenge Sessions*: 20 minutes

*Challenge Sessions are for those who meet one of the following criteria:

• It is your first time to give a presentation about Go.
• You are giving the talk in your non-native language (e.g. an English-speaking person presenting in Japanese or the other way around).
• You contributed to a Go related project.
  

We appreciate any type of challenge--as long as you specify the reason in the notes section when submitting.

We will make a selection based on the contents of your talk proposal. As goes with the Long/Short Session speakers, the topic of Challenge Sessions needs to be about Go as well.

Language

Most attendees’ primary language will probably be Japanese, but most can listen and understand English. We accept talks for both English and Japanese.

Selection criteria

Proposals will be reviewed based on the following selection criteria.

• Relevance: The talk is relevant to the Go community. Go Conference is not a general software conference, our audience wants to hear about topics that relate to the Go programming language.
• Clarity: You’ve clearly explained what you are going to talk about.
• Correctness: You’ve demonstrated knowledge of your topic. You don’t have to be an expert, but you are expected to be speaking from experience.
• Achievability: You’ve thought about how to present your material in the time available.
• Impact: The goal of the talk. What new idea, technique, tool, or information will the audience leave your presentation with?

Note: The selection criteria is based on GopherCon. 

Supplement

Sessions for beginners are welcome.

Please don’t criticize other programming languages or give excessive product advertisements. Please give technical talks.
