Are you passionate about sharing your knowledge and experiences? We are excited to announce the inaugural HelloStavanger, a new kind of conference made in Stavanger, and we want you to be a part of it!

Why should you submit? This isn't just another conference; it's a community event where we strive to make both the speaker and attendee experience unforgettable. We'll have something special planned for the day before the conference to kick things off, ensuring you have a memorable time. 

We're seeking a diverse mix of professionals from the broader specter of software development, all the way from idea to continuously delivered product. Architecture, design, code, agile, security and many more topics are wanted. We are especially looking for those who can talk about interdisciplinary topics that bridge different areas of expertise and help different disciplines understand each other better.

Session Formats:

• Presentation: Take the stage and engage the audience with your insights. Whether it's a 15-minute brief or a full-hour deep dive, we welcome your stories, slides, live coding, and inspirational talks.
• Workshop: Get the audience involved directly. Lead a hands-on session and specify any equipment they should bring.
• Lightning Talk: Got 15 minutes of concentrated wisdom? Share a quick, impactful talk about something cool that deserves more attention.
• Demo: Display your passion! Whether it's a pet project, an open-source initiative, or a unique gadget, take the stage and indulge in a Q&A session after your demo.

Languages: We welcome presentations in both Norwegian and English. If you can do both, but prefer one, select both languages and specify your preference in the Additional notes field. 

First Timers very welcome: If your talk is accepted, we offer support and feedback to help you craft an impactful presentation. Help in writing an abstract is also available. Contact the agenda team at hello@hellostavanger.no for more information.

Community and Support: As a community conference, it's enormously helpful if your employer can help us out and support your travel and accommodation. If not, don't let that stop you!
