IWD 2023 is here and WTM Nairobi will be hosting IWD Nairobi 2023. IWD occurs on the 8th of March every year, It is a moment to celebrate and provide visibility to the incredible contributions of women around the world and is a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
This years theme is #DareToBe. We explore what it would mean to be audaciously bold, walk through the world with courage and confidence. We are willing to try something new, step outside our comfort zone, and be unapologetically ourselves. We do not let societal or cultural norms dictate who we are and how big we can dream.
We dare to be bold, innovative, resilient and recognize each of us has something unique to offer. We bravely set out to accomplish our goals and stand up for what we believe in.

Hello there,
Thank you for your interest in speaking at IWD Nairobi 2023 Virtual Technical workshop.
This year's theme is #DareToBe. The event will take place on the 17th of March 2023 as from 4pm - 6.30 pm, EAT, with attendees from within and outside of Kenya.
You can submit a 1 hour workshop. You can also submit the form multiple times if you have multiple topics and we will pick what best suits our event.

💻 It will be virtual, so you will get to interact from participants from all over the country and beyond.
🎁 We will work with you to make you have the best presentation. We will share some tips before the conference and feedback from attendees after the event.
Proposals that we will not accept:
❌ Pitching or selling a company or products. It is totally okay to mention your company but it should not be the main focus.
❌ Stolen presentations. We believe in originality.
