ITCamp 2019 - Call for Content
---------------
This year, like in the past years, we would like to give a chance to other IT community people out there (from both Romania and abroad) to attend our conference as speakers. So, if you want to have your own session and speak to a mature and highly experienced IT audience, then this is your chance!
Topics, Submissions & Deadline
The call for speakers ends on January 31st.
We accept sessions on any of the following topics:
Evaluation Process
All submitted sessions will be rated and ordered based on their final score/rating. Selected speakers will be invited to attend this year’s ITCamp event on June 6th-7th.
Travel and accommodations will be covered for all selected speakers not based in Cluj-Napoca (Romania).
Evaluation Criteria
Tips for a winning submission
Before submitting your session, you might want to consider the target audience you’ll be talking to, as well as some of the other tips we have put together for you. You can submit more than one session.
For instance, you can check out the breakdown on the technical expertise and role in the organization for the attendees from last year – this should help in positioning your content so that it is relevant for that type of an audience.
We are marking all sessions on the agenda according to their technical depth level. We will use something similar to the TechEd conference session levels (ranked 100-400), so you will be asked to evaluate or plan your session level before submitting it.
Check out an overview of the SESSION LEVELS we use here.
We’re open to pretty much any technical (development, Cloud, infrastructure, security, etc.) or IT management/business topic. Feel free to check the sessions from past years if you need some inspiration.
Also, please keep the following recommendations in mind:
Please note that sessions that focus on proprietary technologies or solutions and on selling/advertising those technologies will be ignored from the start. Also, the ITCamp organizers reserve the right to select specific sessions based on other criteria or preferences, as needed.
Thank you, and good luck! :)
