IWD 2026 - Build with AI

event date

31 Mar 2026

location

Dublin, Ireland

At GDG Dublin, we are breaking the patterns of the past to build the technology of tomorrow. This year, our International Women’s Day celebration is teaming up with the global Build with AI campaign.

We are looking for speakers, workshop leads, and mentors to help our community move from "exploring" AI to "building" with it. Whether you are a woman in tech leading the charge or an ally supporting the mission, we invite you to help us empower 170k+ developers worldwide to create impact.

What are we looking for?

We want sessions that prioritise learning by building. We are looking for content across all levels:

For Explorers: Introductory workshops on Gen AI and Google AI Studio.

For Builders: Deep dives into Gemini 3 (Pro, Flash, and Deep Think) and the Gemini CLI.

For Visionaries: Advanced sessions on "Agentic Workflows" using Google Antigravity and the Agent Development Kit (ADK).

Break The Pattern Stories: Short talks on how AI is helping women disrupt outdated industries, improve accessibility, or lead in the "vibe coding" era.

Choose Your Format:

Workshop (60–90 mins): A hands-on "Code-along" where attendees leave with a working prototype.

Technical Talk (30 mins): Deep dive into AI architecture or new tools like Antigravity.

Lightning Talk (10 mins): A quick demo of an AI solution you built to solve a real-world problem.

Who should apply?

If you are passionate about Google AI tools and community, we want you! We strongly encourage women and non-binary developers to apply. First-time speaker? Don't worry—we provide speaker mentorship to help you polish your session.

Why participate?

Last year, Build with AI enabled over 170k developers. This year, you can be the one to guide them through the newest models like Gemini 3 and help our community Break The Pattern.
