International Women’s Day (IWD) Kigali 2025
Join us for IWD Kigali 2025, where we’ll come together to Redefine Possible! Hosted by Women Techmakers in partnership with Women in Tech club of CMU-Africa and GDG-Kigali, International Women’s Day (IWD) is the world’s largest celebration of women in tech, leadership, and innovation. In 2025, we continue to amplify the voices of women who are shattering boundaries, leading the way, and transforming industries across the globe.
With the theme "Redefine Possible", we’ll explore how women are not only overcoming challenges but reimagining the impossible—whether it’s in technology, entrepreneurship, or personal growth. From inspiring talks to hands-on workshops, this event will ignite new perspectives and create lasting impact.

International Women’s Day (IWD) is Women Techmakers’ largest annual campaign where Ambassadors host and speak at events all around the world during the months of March and April in celebration of this moment.
This year, IWD Kigali is organizing an international women's day on the 15th March with the theme: "Redefine Possibility". During this event, we’ll explore how women are not only overcoming challenges but reimagining the impossible—whether it’s in technology, entrepreneurship, or personal growth. From inspiring talks to hands-on workshops, this event will ignite new perspectives and create lasting impact.
There will be different sessions on different tracks including AI/ML, Android, Flutter, web, IoT/Embedded System/Robotics, and more .
To smooth the logistics of the event, please ensure you provide a professional photo headshot for fliers and other social media related content. Please make sure you provide social media handles as well.
