Mr. Askren (BA, Computer Science, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology; MA, Computational Linguistics, Indiana University, Bloomington) has over 15 years of software development experience. He is an experienced team leader and project manager who is passionate about designing and building high performance software solutions that actually reflect customer needs and wants. ​ In addition to his work in software development, Mr. Askren is passionate about introducing young people to the exciting world of STEM. In the past five years he has collaborated in starting ten FIRST LEGO League teams at four different Utah County schools and two Technovation teams - working to help girls develop and market innovative mobile apps. He is married with two children.
