Do you want to be a speaker? Do you have an exciting topic, idea or experience you would like to present at JCON WORLD 2023? Then we look forward to your submission!

JCON WORLD 2023

JCON WORLD is a Java-focused, online community event connecting the Java Community around the World on six continents. If you are in Antarctica, we desperately need your submission to make it to seven continents!

The schedule is as follows:

• Tuesday, November 21st, 1000h - 2200h (UTC+1): Conference Day
• Wednesday, November 22nd, 1000h - 2100h (UTC+1): Conference Day
• Thursday, November 23rd, 1000h - 1800h (UTC+1): Conference Day
• Friday, November 24th, 0900h - 1200h (UTC+1): Workshop Day

What we are looking for

We accept submissions for 45 minutes standard conference sessions (Please set some time aside for Q&A and participant interaction within your 45 minutes. We need a 15 minutes break between sessions to set up the next speaker properly.) and 3-hour hands-on workshops (the number and length of breaks are determined by the speaker).

You can make different proposals on different topics and thus submit several presentations. The chances are highest in the topics of Core Java and cloud-native Java. These are our main topics.

Submit relevant topics: You are going to discuss things that participants of the conference find useful not only yesterday but also today and in the future. Does this subject matter have broad appeal and application?

We look for practical applicability: The content is important from a practical point of view and you not only cover the existing problems / solutions, but also share your experience.

JCON WORLD is a live online conference - we do not accept recorded sessions - we want the conference experience to be as interactive as possible.

What you get

Speakers at JCON WORLD 2023 can look forward to the following benefits:

• Conference Pass: All accepted speakers receive a complimentary four-day pass to JCON WORLD 2023, including access to the workshop day. The pass is not transferable.
• Conference Passes for your friends: 5 x 3-day passes for all conference sessions in the main program, which you can use to invite your colleagues, business partners, or friends to JCON WORLD 2023.
• Social Media Visibility: We also increase your visibility and offer you the opportunity to send us a video teaser, which we will distribute via our social media channels in advance.

Technical equipment

We will use Zoom for the sessions in the main program as well as for the workshop day.
