Kubernetes Community Days (or KCD) is a Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) supported event that takes place in 30 cities every year. You may have attended KCDs before in neighboring countries, but finally KCD is coming to Budapest for us to enjoy a day together in the local cloud native community.

KCDs are community-organized events that gather adopters and technologists from open source and cloud native communities for education, collaboration, and networking.

  • We welcome technical talks, case studies, and hands-on workshops focused on cloud native technologies, particularly Kubernetes and CNCF projects. (e.g. Demonstrate practical implementations and real-world experiences, share technical insights, best practices, and lessons learned, present architecture deep-dives and solution patterns, explore emerging trends in cloud native computing)
  • Avoid sales or marketing pitches and discussing unlicensed or potentially closed-source technologies when preparing your proposal; these talks are almost always rejected due to the fact that they take away from the integrity of our events, and are rarely well-received by conference attendees.
  • All accepted speakers are required to submit their slides prior to the event.
  • Content should be suitable for beginner to advanced practitioners
  • Presentations should maintain vendor neutrality and focus on open-source technologies
