KCD Denmark is back again for 2024!
KCD Denmark brings together individuals and organisations from across the Cloud Native ecosystem to learn, network and collaborate. Kubernetes Community Days Denmark is supported by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation, and organized by the Danish Cloud Native nordics chapters. Over the course of two days we will share stories of people using cloud native technologies, both successes and failures - through in-depth technical talks, demonstrations of open source projects and workshops. We are excited to welcome back our community in person, and we look forward to getting as many CFP submissions as possible! Please read the guidelines and questions carefully if you are thinking of submitting. And if you have more questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at cfp@kcddenmark.dk
Submission Details
Talks are either 35 minutes in length, including Q&A (which is completely optional) or lightning talks of 5 minutes - it is also possible to submit proposals for workshops.Talk sessions can include up to 3 speakers, and topics should be relevant to the current state of the Kubernetes and Cloud Native Ecosystem.
We definitely do not expect every presentation to have code snippets and technical deep-dives but here are two things that you should avoid when preparing your proposal because they are almost always rejected due to the fact that they take away from the integrity of our events, and are rarely well-received by conference attendees:
There are plenty of ways to give a presentation about projects and technologies without focusing on company-specific efforts. Let’s give room to the community!
First time speaker?
Fear not! Community driven conferences are a great place to get started as a technical speaker. You do not need to be a chief architect or long-time industry pundit to submit a proposal, in fact, we strongly encourage first-time speakers to submit talks for this event.
What information should you include?
Please endeavour to address some or all of the following points:
Speaker Benefits
All speakers receive a free conference pass. We usually host a speakers dinner. Materials from all talks get published (please let us know if you would prefer your talk is not published).
Important!
By submitting a session to Kubernetes Community Days Denmark, you are agreeing to adhere to the CNCF Code of Conduct should your proposal be accepted.
