🚀 KCD SF Bay Area 2026 🚀
The KCD SF Bay Area (a.k.a Kubernetes Community Days San Francisco Bay Area) is a community-driven event dedicated to Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies, organized by the community for the community.
It's a unique opportunity to meet professionals, enthusiasts, and innovators, to share knowledge, explore new ideas, and discuss the challenges ahead in the ever-evolving cloud-native ecosystem.
On September 1, 2026, we will bring the Cloud Native community to the heart of the Bay Area for a day full of presentations, interactive sessions, inspiration and new connections.
Whether you are a regular participant or experiencing this for the first time, the KCD SF Bay Area is the perfect occasion to discover fresh ideas, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and contribute to the growth of the cloud-native community.
KCD SF Bay Area 2026 will feature a diverse set of talks from experts and leaders in the cloud native community. We’re especially excited to hear what tools and technologies you’re working with; our audience has expressed enthusiasm for technical talks at all levels. [add info on less technical] Most accepted submissions will prominently feature Kubernetes and/or CNCF-hosted projects.
The following are suggested topics for talk submissions:
Submissions can be in any of these formats:
If you have any questions about talk content or want clarification on what constitutes a strong CFP, email us at sf-bay-org@kubernetescommunitydays.org.
We aim to curate a balanced schedule, speaker-wise, content-wise, and level-wise. KCDs are regional, local-first events, so submissions from Bay Area and West Coast speakers will take priority in our selection process.
We’re also looking for speakers from backgrounds that are underrepresented in tech, as well as first-time speakers. We will not accept vendor pitches, or talks that have been given at other conferences.
While we understand that GenAI tools can help refine submissions, we’d love to hear your voice in your submission.
