Kubernetes Community Days (KCD) Sofia 2026 is a community-driven, non-profit event dedicated to Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies — organized by the
community, for the community, supported by the CNCF.
Last year we proved the concept: 446 attendees, 19 speakers, 19 sessions, and a sold-out house at Sofia Event Center. The room was packed with practitioners —
46% DevOps/SRE, engineers from end-user companies, vendors, consultants, and attendees from across Europe and beyond. The verdict from the floor: "One of the
best conferences I have ever been. Really well done, top organization, amazing content and great networking."
📅 September 29th, 2026 — we're doing it again, bigger.
One day, single track, no filler. Expect technical depth across Kubernetes, platform engineering, security, observability, and GitOps — with speakers who
actually run this stuff in production. Talks, hands-on sessions, and the kind of hallway conversations that don't happen on Slack or in GitHub issues.
Whether this is your first KCD or your tenth, Sofia in late September delivers: the tech community is here, the venue is world-class, and Vitosha Mountain is
right outside the door.
Join us. Help shape what's next.
We invite compelling, insightful, and thought-provoking proposals that showcase real-world applications, innovative solutions, and forward-thinking ideas within the Cloud Native ecosystem.
Your submission can take the form of technical deep dives, case studies, or industry insights—what matters most is the value you bring to the community. Sessions can range from beginner-friendly introductions to advanced discussions for seasoned practitioners.
Speakers can choose from various formats, including solo presentations, co-presented sessions, or panel discussions with up to four contributors.
We believe diverse perspectives foster richer conversations. Whether you're a developer, operations engineer, platform engineer, or open-source contributor, this is your opportunity to share your journey and expertise.
Topics of interest include platform engineering, observability, software delivery, machine learning, and Kubernetes in production—though we’re always eager to explore innovative and impactful subjects across the broader cloud-native ecosystem.
Whether your goal is to inspire or challenge advanced audiences, your talk will help educate, connect, and ignite meaningful conversations within the community.
