Proposal Guidelines

We’re excited to welcome speakers from all backgrounds to Kubernetes Community Days El Salvador 2025. We invite talks that:

 • Provide practical value and technical insight to a diverse audience

 • Are vendor-neutral and free of sales or marketing pitches

 • Share real-world experiences, lessons learned, and best practices

 • Highlight innovation in cloud-native technologies and community collaboration

 • Promote inclusion, regional representation, and impactful knowledge sharing

Whether you’re an experienced speaker or sharing your story for the first time, this is your chance to contribute to a vibrant, growing ecosystem in Latin America.

🎤 Session Formats

Talks (30 min + 5 min Q&A)

Full-length presentations on implementations, technical topics, or case studies.


Lightning Talks (5 min)

Quick, focused talks to introduce a concept, share a lesson, or highlight a challenge/solution.


Workshops (60 min)

Hands-on sessions for attendees to learn by doing—ideal for teaching tools, architectures, or workflows.


Panels (30 min + 5 min Q&A)

Moderated discussions featuring diverse voices exploring trends, tradeoffs, or future directions.


🎯 Experience Levels

To help attendees select the right content, all sessions should include a defined experience level:

 • Beginner – Entry-level content for newcomers. No prior knowledge required.

 • Intermediate – Some familiarity assumed. Practical implementation or architectural discussions.

 • Advanced – In-depth technical sessions for experienced professionals.


✅ Selection Criteria

Our program committee will evaluate proposals based on:

 • Relevance – How well the topic aligns with our themes and the regional community’s interests

 • Originality – Unique or underrepresented perspectives, stories, or technologies

 • Practicality – Actionable content and real-world applications

 • Technical Accuracy – Sound, well-explained, and informed content

 • Presenter Experience – Clarity, authenticity, and depth of knowledge (first-time speakers welcome!)

Cloud Native San Salvador is a non-profit, community-driven event. Please note:

 1. Speaker participation is voluntary and non-compensated.

 2. Travel, lodging, and related expenses are the speaker’s responsibility.

 3. As a token of appreciation, speakers will receive visibility in the global CNCF community, event promotion, and a CNCF-issued Certificate of Participation.
