Kotlin Dev Day Amsterdam

Let’s bring the fun back to events! Kotlin Dev Day will be THE in-person conference for people interested in Kotlin and you can be a part of it.

Take the stage in front of 100's of people in Europe's most innovative stadium:

The Johan Cruijff ArenA!

You will share this stage with experts from JetBrains, Xebia, and other Kotlin enthusiasts from leading tech companies.

The Johan Cruijff stadium is not only the home of the legendary no.14 but they also initiate, test, and accelerate solutions in a real-time playground and scale them globally. They operate as a small and smart society, with millions of visitors, and make talent and impact visible.

Get The Full Conference Experience

All speakers will receive our exclusive speaker swag! You'll also be invited to the speakers dinner on the night before where you'll be having fun with the others. A great experience and an opportunity to expand your network and make new friends (that also like Kotlin).

A Not-for-Profit Conference!

Lastly, we want to emphasize that this is a Not-for-Profit Conference. This means that all profits will be flowing back to the community.

The attendees are in control of where the money goes. We'll give them options to choose from. It will be something related to the community or software development in general.

Feel free to do a suggestion!

We're looking forward to your submission.

Kotlin is upcoming and we're riding the hype train! The first Kotlin Dev Day in 2021 was very successful and just the start of something big.

On May 19th the second edition will take place in the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam and you can be a part of that. Join JetBrains experts and other Kotlin enthusiasts on-stage!

There will be 2 parallel tracks:

Stage 1 (capacity: 700): Keynotes + intermediate/expert level talks
Stage 2 (capacity: 270): Beginner + intermediate level talks

We are open to basically everything, no matter whether it’s about the language, backend, Android/KMM or native, Kotlin libraries and frameworks, war stories or real-life experiences. A good submission gives us a good understanding of what the talk is about by defining it as best as you can.

The rating of the talk is based on:

  • Its link to Kotlin
  • Difficulty level
  • Demo is a plus
  • Live coding is a plus
  • No marketing of products and tools

Use the fields in the submission form to take us through your talk. This CFP will close on January 31st, 2022.

After the CFP closed, our committee will rate all the submissions and put together the best program. All submissions will go through the selection process. As we expect we will need to handle a lot of submissions, so we can not guarantee your talk to be accepted.

Good luck and we look forward to your submission!
