KCD Dhaka brings together hundreds of passionate IT professionals, IT executives, cloud operators, and technology providers to discuss cloud computing and learn about Kubernetes.
This is your chance for making your voice heard in this amazing context!
First-time speaker?
First time submitting? You do not need to be a chief architect or long-time industry pundit to submit a proposal, in fact, we strongly encourage first-time speakers to submit talks for this event. And we are looking for many more diverse voices!
What information should you include?
Consider the following as you write your proposal:
- What do you expect the audience to gain from your presentation?
- Why should YOU be the one to give this talk? You have a unique story. Tell it.
- Explain how this fits into Kubernetes Community Days Dhaka. Ideally, we would like to group talks into two tracks:
- Community, focusing on cloud native projects and technologies.
- Enterprise, focusing on use cases, and lessons learned.
Important!
We definitely do not expect every presentation to have code snippets and technical deep-dives but here are two things that you should avoid when preparing your proposal because they are almost always rejected due to the fact that they take away from the integrity of our events, and are rarely well-received by conference attendees:
- Sales or Marketing Pitches
- Unlicensed or Potentially Closed-Source Technologies
- Talks presented at previous local conferences
There are plenty of ways to give a presentation about projects and technologies without focusing on company-specific efforts. Let’s give room to the community!
Speaker Notes
Kubernetes Day Dhaka 2024 is your chance to take the stage and share your cloud-native journey with thousands of passionate IT professionals.
The talk should cover 30 minutes + 15 minutes for Q&A time!
CFP Dates:
- Open February 22, 2024 - 00:00 GMT+6
- Close March 24 , 2024 - 23:59 GMT+6
- Notification end of March 2024.
Recommended language for talks and presentations is Bangla, but we are happy to accept English talks and presentations from international speakers.
We are running this event in person (detail will follow after the CFP closing). Therefore we expect the speaker to participate in person, as mentioned above.
