SDHES 2022: SaludConTech Digital Health Equity Symposium

January 21, 2022 at 10am-5 pm PST

As we consider the scale of change that the covid-19 pandemic has generated and will continue to generate in the years to come, we feel compelled to reflect not just on a health crisis of immense proportion but also on an impending restructuring of our daily lives. The SaludConTech Digital Health Equity Symposium will bring together a group of diverse health technology and health equity leaders to connect, strengthen and amplify our collective efforts.

The symposium will feature presentations and conversations led by experts working at the intersection of health equity and digital health to explore the role of technology in addressing health disparities.

We aim to elevate the voice of community-based organizations and members of marginalized communities to develop a better-shared definition of health equity. To improve our understanding of successes, challenges, lessons learned, needs, and growth opportunities, we will be supporting emerging minority leaders in university and community settings and providing opportunities for continuing dialogue, professional growth, and networking with those who work with marginalized communities.

Attendees will learn how technology can help design our new normal by fostering connections among organizations and strengthening relationships with surrounding communities.

In 2018, hundreds of you joined us at Google HQ In Venice for The SaludConTech Digital Health Equity Symposium. Beyond the many inspirational talks, we were amazed by the connections made and friendships built. Each time we bring our family together, whether in-person or online, we are amazed by the passion, expertise, and creativity of those among us.

We look forward to building this movement together, and we hope you will join us at our upcoming symposium.
