Linux Security Summit Europe 2026

event date

8 Oct 2026

location

Prague, Czechia

Linux Security Summit Europe 2026 is a technical forum for collaboration among Linux operating system developers, researchers, and end users. Its primary aim is to foster community efforts to analyze and address Linux security challenges, including those in the Linux kernel. Presentations should focus on new or improved technologies and how they advance the state of practice for addressing these challenges.

Snippets of source or assembly code are encouraged. Product marketing is out of scope. Talks on software must focus on open source software that is publicly viewable by the CFP close. Proprietary or non-viewable software is out of scope.

Presentations on other open source operating systems may be considered if they offer lessons applicable to Linux or cover algorithms or hardware with a clear focus on Linux-specific implementations. We generally prefer proposals from individuals actively involved in developing the Linux related security technology being presented, such as original researchers, lead maintainers, or key contributors.
