Microsoft 365 Saturday - Sydney 2019

event date

26 Oct 2019

location

Microsoft Reactor, Level 10, 11 York Street, CBD Sydney, Australia

We are very excited to announce the first Microsoft 365 Saturday in Sydney on 26 October 2019.

Continuing the tradition started by SharePoint Saturday, this year we are evolving the event to cover topics across all of Microsoft 365. Office 365 and SharePoint still remaining core, but expect discussions on other technologies such as Microsoft Teams, Power Apps and Flow.

This is an all day free community-focused event dedicated to educating and engaging members of the local community. It draws upon the expertise of SharePoint and Office 365 professionals, from trainers, change managers, administrators to developers and solutions architects, who come together to share their real world experiences, lessons learned, best practices, and general knowledge with you.

The focus this year is going will be on best practices, product/feature usage, and getting the most from the platform and discovering what is possible rather than deep diving into "how to" development topics.

Session Format: 50 minute sessions

We are looking for sessions that promote:

  • How to get the most out of the M365 technologies
  • How to drive better usage and adoption
  • Spark ideas of what's possible
  • Better ways of working
  • Solve common pain points
  • Teach best practice (especially around emerging technologies)

We are trying to avoid very focused/technical deep dives. Development topics are welcomed but more at a level that promotes "what" is possible and "why" you would do it rather than going through code and showing "how" (avoid Visual Studio!)

Clearly state:

* who your target audience is

* key benefits or takeaways of attending your session
