The Malta Microsoft AI User Group (MMAUG) is a forward-looking technology community dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence, cloud innovation, DevOps, and intelligent systems using the Microsoft ecosystem.

Our mission is simple and ambitious:

To become Malta’s leading AI community, where practitioners, architects, developers, students, founders, and enterprise leaders converge to learn, build, and innovate with Microsoft AI technologies.

This meetup series is the first of its kind for the user group to empower learners with the knowledge and skills required to excel in Microsoft AI Services.

The Malta Microsoft AI User Group (MMAUG) is launching its 2026 Speaker Series and invites passionate technologists, architects, developers, researchers, and AI leaders to share their expertise with the growing Microsoft AI community in Malta.

As a new but strategically positioned community focused on Microsoft AI Foundry, Agentic AI, and Enterprise AI Engineering, MMAUG aims to become the premier AI-focused Microsoft technical community in Malta.

We welcome sessions aligned with the Microsoft AI ecosystem, including (but not limited to):

  • Azure AI Foundry (Models & Agent Service)
  • Multi-agent architectures (Orchestrator + Domain Agents)
  • Tool-using AI agents
  • Enterprise-grade RAG systems
  • Copilot Studio vs Foundry positioning
  • AI-native enterprise solution patterns
  • LLM architecture and deployment strategies
  • Prompt engineering & evaluation frameworks
  • Multimodal AI (text, speech, vision)
  • Fine-tuning and grounding models
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

AI systems require modern engineering practices. We will strongly welcome sessions covering the following:

  • GitHub Copilot for AI development
  • Azure DevOps pipelines for model deployment
  • GitHub Actions for AI CI/CD
  • MLOps & LLMOps lifecycle management
  • Model versioning & evaluation pipelines
  • DevSecOps for AI workloads

Note that, these sessions are strictly virtual and you are welcome to submit a session from anywhere in the World.
