Microsoft TechDays 2019 – Improving the world through technology

Make no mistake. Everything that can be digitized will be digitized. This year is very special! We will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of TechDays in Sweden.

Microsoft TechDays is where tech professionals and developers meet, get inspired, expand and deepen their knowledge. Whether you’re developing innovative apps, delivering optimized solutions or is looking for technology innovation sessions that provides leadership insights for both your business and personal digitization needs – then TechDays is right for you. Connect with experts, learn from best practices and get prepared for the future.

Start off with an optional Pre-Day followed by two very intense, inspiring, fun and exciting conference days. TechDays is also a place to meet new friends and business partners.

Submit your session proposals

Please read carefully. There are changes to previous years. Make sure you submit the most appropriate session proposals as possible.

You are welcome to submit your session and below is a list of focus areas which we hope will be useful to you when filling out this tool.

Please note, you are welcome to submit and present sessions in Swedish. Or if you prefer, in English. The website will clearly indicate which language each session is presented in.

• 22 October = Pre-Day
• 23-24 October = Sessions

We have the following target group choices (named tracks in the tool). Please mark the one the most appropriate to your session.

• IT influencers and implementers

• Developers

• Data Scientists (i.e. people working with advanced analytics, ai, machine learning)

• Enterprise Architects

• IT Decision Makers

• Thought Leader Sessions - digitization, innovation, inclusion, sustainability

• Pre-Day

IT Decision Makers and Thought Leader Sessions content should be presented at level 100, or in rare cases, level 200.

We recommend that all other target groups sessions be presented around level 300 or 400. Or level 200 in rare cases.

You may also submit proposals for a Pre-Day (workshop, hands-on, lecture) which takes place Tuesday October 22nd from 9am until 4pm.

NEW this year is spotlight sessions. 15 minutes TechDays Talks. Think for example inclusiveness, accessibility, sustainability, innovation, leadership, improving the world through technology when writing the abstract.

Keep your session titles short, catchy and informative!

What happens next?

All submitted sessions will be evaluated. We will make a major selection straight after June 3rd and selected speakers will be notified directly. However, the selection of the remaining sessions will continue regularly until September 6th. We will get back to you by early July at the latest with our preliminary status on sessions still to be selected.

IMPORTANT: Not all submissions will be accepted, and we thank you for your submission. We know crafting a session proposal requires considerable time and thoughtfulness and we sincerely appreciate your efforts in this regard. Please understand that all submitted content goes through several prioritization and review cycles.
