DevFests are community-led developer events, hosted by Google Developer Groups, that take place all around the world and are focused on building a community around Google's technologies.
Come join us for our first midwest DevFest, brought to you by the Google Developer Group (GDG) chapters Chicago, Columbia, Minnesota and Women Techmakers. Don’t be fooled by the name – you don’t have to be a developer to come! If you are interested in technology, we want to see you there!!
This is a virtual event and we will either use Google Meetup, Zoom, or another platform to host this meetup. As we get closer to the date, we will let you know what we will be using.
Deadline for submissions is Oct. 31 at midnight. We’ll notify selected speakers by the first week in November.
We’re interested in hearing from you about topics like:
Android: New features, Developer Tools, Testing, and Architecture
UI/UX: Material Design, best practices, accessibility
Web: Angular, Polymer, Service Workers, Progressive Web Apps
Cloud: Firebase, Kubernetes, Cloud Pricing, Machine Learning (TensorFlow, Vision API, AutoML, etc)
Emerging Tech: I.O.T, A.R/V.R, Hybrid Apps, Flutter, Firebase, StackBlitz, etc.
Community: improving inclusion, diversity, and social impact in our tech community especially with COVID and how you are navigating.
Developer Stories: building something cool? Share your journey.
Something new and exciting that you think we really should have!
