Our goal is to be more than just an IT conference. Our vision is to create an event that's inclusive and accessible to all, with affordable pricing, a wheelchair-accessible venue, a breastfeeding room, and automatic talk transcriptions. We're committed to an eco-friendly approach and to promoting diversity in terms of topics, technologies, and participants.
Want to talk about tech, people, ethics, or something completely different? We'd love to hear from you! If you're still unsure, take a look at our past talks to get a better sense of what we're all about 😉

Support diversity
We’re committed to creating a diverse speaker panel that reflects the society we live in. To help us achieve this, we’ve partnered with Craft Records to review abstracts from underrepresented minorities in IT. Their team will review the first 30 abstracts we receive.
If you identify as part of an underrepresented minority, you can send your abstract to craftsrecords@gmail.com with [CFP MIXIT] in the title for review before submitting it (limit one abstract per person). If you’d like to support our efforts and enable us to review more abstracts, please get in touch with them at the same address.
Submission Recommendations
Before submitting to the CFP, please consider the following:
Speaker Support and Reimbursement
As a non-profit organization, MiXiT has a limited budget, and unfortunately, we cannot cover all expenses for our speakers. However, we are able to offer a stipend of €220 per speaker to help with costs.
Additionally, we want to ensure that all speakers feel supported and included. If you have specific needs or requirements, such as pregnancy or disability-related expenses, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us so we can discuss possible arrangements.
Speakers not sponsored by their company can have expenses reimbursed after the conference, up to a maximum of €220 per speaker. We prioritize EMEA speakers due to ecological considerations. Non-EMEA speakers are welcome if they have other European commitments during this period.
