The first-ever Mobile DevOps Summit is a one-day virtual conference, powered by Bitrise, about the unique challenges faced by mobile teams. On November 10th, 2022, over 2,500 mobile practitioners and business leaders will come together to discuss Mobile DevOps best practices, mobile-specific insights, strategic solutions, and more.

We’re putting together a comprehensive program for you to accelerate your mobile engineering readiness and maximize your app’s impact on society. Be part of the conversation where mobile thought leaders and industry experts discuss how they build, test, release, monitor, and collaborate on their mobile apps. 

The Summit will offer the opportunity to hear from 75+ prestigious speakers, live Q&A sessions with mobile leaders, and 50+ sessions including hands-on workshops, engaging fireside chats, customer case studies, and more. Attendees will get actionable insights and solutions to overcoming the unique mobile-specific challenges that app builders face worldwide.

The program will provide a holistic understanding of how to implement MobileDevOps best practices in an organization. We want you to share your experiences, best practices, and expertise on mobile-centric issues.

We are looking for speakers on Mobile DevOps topics such as (but not limited to):

  • Mobile development and app creation
  • Testing best practices and test automation 
  • Deployment practices and processes
  • Monitoring, and measuring performance metrics
  • Collaboration within Mobile DevOps teams and beyond

We will cover multiple timezones during this 6 hour event, so you can present your session from anywhere in the world. The primary language of this event is English, subtitles will be available during sessions. 


CFP Timeline:

  • CFP Open: August 9
  • CFP Closes: September 6 extended to September 12
  • Submission Review: September 7-13
  • Notifications of acceptance by: September 15

What to submit:

Share your experiences, best practices, educate the community about an issue, or generate interest in a project. Please submit sessions on recent projects that you’ve been working on in the past 6-12 months. 

What not to submit:

Sessions may mention software, tools, etc. as part of the overall topic, but please avoid product or services pitches. Product marketing submissions from vendors will not be accepted. 

Session Lengths and Schedule

Sessions range from 20-80 minutes depending on the session type. We will cover multiple timezones globally. 

Session Types

  • Keynotes 40 mins
  • Panels 60 mins
  • Breakout Sessions (Deep Dives, Case studies) 20-30 mins
  • Workshops (LIVE): 60-80 mins
  • Fireside Chat (Interview): 30 mins

Live or Pre-Recorded Sessions

Speakers will have the option to present live or pre-record their sessions. Pre-recorded sessions will be broadcasted at the scheduled date and time and speakers must be online to answer questions live in the chat - or you may go "live" and answer questions after the session has ended. (Please note, workshops cannot be pre-recorded and must be presented live.) 

Agreement to Record and Distribute the Session

All accepted sessions will be broadcast to the public audience and recorded and posted to the Bitrise channels following the event. These sessions may be used on Bitrise social media, website, Youtube, etc. By submitting, you agree to these terms and to being recorded. *Please make sure you do not discuss any company confidential material. Please check with your legal and marketing departments before submitting and get all necessary approvals. 

Event Platform and Setup

This event will be hosted on Bizzabo. Accepted speakers will receive instructions on how to login to the speaker portal, upload presentation materials, and will be offered a pre-event run-through session. A moderator from Bitrise will be present at every session to support the speakers and help with any tech issues, audience questions, etc.
