We are excited to announce our upcoming online event:

"Neurodiversity as a Superpower in the Tech World"


Our event aims to celebrate the diverse talents and strengths that neurodivergent individuals bring to the tech world. We believe that neurodiversity is not just a difference to be accommodated but a superpower that fuels innovation, creativity, and success. 


We are assembling a lineup of passionate speakers who can share their stories, insights, and groundbreaking ideas to empower and enlighten our audience. 


Are you a neurodivergent professional whose career has been shaped by your unique strengths? Have you witnessed the transformative power of technology in the lives of neurodivergent individuals? Are you an advocate or researcher dedicated to advancing the inclusion of neurodivergent talent in the tech industry? We invite you to take the stage and inspire others with your knowledge and experiences.


We are seeking speakers from diverse backgrounds, including neurodivergent individuals themselves, tech industry professionals, researchers, educators, entrepreneurs, and advocates. 


The talks can be submitted for the following tracks:



1. Tech4Good: technology changing lives of neurodivergent people 


We welcome talks submissions by neurodivergent individuals (and allies) on how technology (software/hardware) has positively impacted their lives. 

  • Assistive technologies, innovative apps, or software designed specifically to support neurodivergent individuals in various aspects of their lives, such as communication, organisation, or learning.
  • The potential of emerging technologies, such as virtual reality or artificial intelligence, GEN AI in addressing challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals. 



2. My Superpower Story 


We encourage neurodivergent individuals to share their personal stories and experiences with their unique abilities and strengths and how their neurodivergence has positively influenced their career paths, problem-solving skills, creativity, or out-of-the-box thinking. 


Share your personal journey, challenges, and triumphs as a neurodivergent individual navigating the tech world. Help the community get inspired by the transformative power of neurodiversity in your academic life and/or career.




3. Neurodiversity at the workplace:

We welcome talks from the companies that have implemented effective accommodations and support systems for neurodivergent employees and the advocate organisations that promote neurodiversity in the tech workspace. 


  • Workshops or presentations to educate recruiters and HR professionals about neurodiversity, dispelling myths and providing a deeper understanding of the talents and skills neurodivergent individuals can bring to the workplace.
  • Share your organisation’s success story when you embraced neurodiversity and implemented inclusive hiring practices, tell us your story of the benefits you have experienced. Share your strategies for creating a more inclusive workplace environment, providing resources, and addressing any challenges that recruiters might face when recruiting and integrating neurodivergent talent.
  • Workplace accommodations and support: importance of providing reasonable accommodations in the workplace for neurodivergent employees, such as flexible work arrangements, sensory-friendly environments, or communication tools.
  • Creating a supportive work culture that embraces diversity and inclusivity, including training programs for managers and colleagues on how to effectively support and collaborate with neurodivergent individuals.



4. Neurodivergent Futures and Empowerment:


For this track we welcome industry experts, researchers, allies for both panel discussion participation interest expression and talk submission that: 


  • Explore how neurodiversity can contribute to the development of innovative products, services, and user experiences in the tech industry.
  • Discuss the role of design thinking and user-centered approaches in creating inclusive technologies that cater to the diverse needs of neurodivergent individuals.
  • Cover the potential risks, biases, and unintended consequences that may arise in the design and deployment of latest technology for neurodivergent individuals.
  • Discuss the potential impact of technologies like artificial intelligence, automation, or augmented reality on neurodivergent individuals' participation in the workforce and society.
  • Explore future job roles and career paths that may be well-suited for neurodivergent individuals, considering their unique strengths and skills.
