NIDC is the largest grassroots tech conference in Northern Ireland, bringing together over 750 practitioners across the spectrum of domains and professions in technology every year.

For our 10th anniversary, we are pulling out all the stops. Bring your colleagues, friends, and family to enjoy a massive day out for the tech community. As always, you can expect multiple tracks featuring hands-on practitioners of all experience levels, community-run villages, dedicated kids' tracks with professional childcare, and the support of incredible local companies.

"Ten years of real stories, brilliant hacks, and genuine connections. We leave the sales decks at the door to focus on what matters most: empowering each other. Whether you are building the future or keeping the lights on, your experience is exactly what our community needs to hear."

2026 marks the 10th anniversary of the Northern Ireland Developers Conference, and we want you to be part of this milestone. For a full decade, NIDC has been built by the community, for the community. To celebrate, we are looking for voices from every corner of our industry to share their passion.

What are we looking for?

Our talks can be on absolutely any subject related to the technology industry. We want to hear about anything that broadens our collective knowledge. Whether you are deep diving into complex code, sharing insights on product management, exploring the latest in AI and cloud architecture, or discussing team dynamics and mental health in the workplace, your unique perspective is valuable to us. We certainly love code, but tech is about so much more than just the syntax. If it matters to the tech community, it matters to NIDC.

We welcome submissions from everyone, from first-time speakers to seasoned veterans. Please keep the following in mind when submitting your proposal:

  • No Sales Pitches: NIDC is fundamentally about peer-to-peer learning. Our attendees are here for insights, not advertisements. Please ensure your proposal focuses on sharing knowledge, lessons learned, or technical solutions rather than pitching a commercial product or service.
  • Highlight Key Takeaways: In your session description, do not forget to call out what the key takeaways of your talk are. What specific new things will attendees know when they leave your session?
  • Anonymised Evaluation: All submissions will be strictly anonymised prior to evaluation by our review panel to ensure a fair and unbiased selection process.
  • Mentorship and Support: If you are new to CFPs and would like advice or feedback on your submission before the deadline, we are more than happy to help.
