Node.TLV 2026 – Call for Speakers

After 6 sold-out years and becoming the premier hub for the JavaScript backend community, we are back! Node.TLV 2026 is returning with 1,000+ attendees, bringing together the best developers, architects, and innovators for a deep dive into the future of the server-side ecosystem.

This year, we are doubling down on what matters most by splitting the conference into two dedicated tracks:

🛡️ Track 1: Node.js Core & Backend Excellence

Everything that powers the modern web. We’re looking for deep dives into:

Runtimes: Performance tuning in Node.js, Bun, and Deno.

Production at Scale: Distributed systems, scaling bottlenecks, and high-availability architecture.

Security & Ops: Hardening your supply chain, eBPF, and cloud-native Node.

The Ecosystem: Advanced TypeScript, design patterns, and "tales from the battlefield."

🤖 Track 2: Backend AI & Intelligent Agents

AI has moved from chat interfaces to the backend. We want to see how you are actually building:

Agentic Workflows: Orchestrating AI agents using Node/TS.

MCO (Multi-Capability Orchestration): Complex integrations and tool-use.

Infrastructure for AI: Vector DBs, LLM caching, and real-time inference in JS.

Hands-on AI: Practical implementations that go beyond simple API calls.

Topics We Think You’ll Want to Talk About:

We are looking for talks that push the boundaries of backend engineering. To give you some inspiration, here are the themes and technologies currently on our radar for 2026:

  1. The TypeScript Evolution: Leveraging Node.js native TS support and the impact on the modern build pipeline (moving away from complex transpilation).
  2. Performance Engineering: Real-world V8 optimizations, advanced memory management, and using `io_uring` or `Worker Threads` for high-throughput systems.
  3. Next-Gen Runtimes: Deep dives into Bun or Deno in production - migration stories, performance benchmarks, and cross-runtime compatibility.
  4. The "Zero-Dependency" Movement: Building enterprise-grade microservices by maximizing the Node.js Standard Library.
  5. Hardened Security: Practical use of the Node.js Permission Model, supply chain security beyond `npm audit`, and implementing OIDC at scale.
  6. WebAssembly (WASM) on the Backend: Integrating Rust or Zig modules into Node.js for specialized high-performance tasks.
  7. Agentic Architectures: Building autonomous backend agents that can plan, reason, and execute multi-step tasks using Node.js.
  8. MCO (Multi-Capability Orchestration): Best practices for "Tool Use" - connecting LLMs to your internal APIs, databases, and third-party services securely.
  9. AI Infrastructure in JS/TS: Scaling Vector Databases, implementing efficient RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns, and managing embedding pipelines.
  10. Inference at the Edge: Running Small Language Models (SLMs) directly on the backend to reduce latency and cloud costs.
  11. Reliability in Non-Deterministic Systems: How to test, monitor, and debug AI agents to ensure they behave predictably in production.
  12. AI-Native Developer Tools: Building internal tools that use AI to automate code migrations, documentation, or performance profiling.

Some Notes ✍

 - You can propose multiple talks and edit your CFP later on.

 - The CFP will be open until March 15st.

 - The talks can be in English or Hebrew

 - We will not accept commercial vendor talks - Talks that are basically just a sales pitch for "Buy our product" or "Come work for us".

We offer full or partial covering of the travel costs for our speakers, but we cannot offer an honorarium.

For information regarding event sponsorship, please contact office@eventhandler.co.il.

Sponsorships DO NOT include speaking slots - all talks must go through the standard CFP process
