The Northern Virginia Code Camp is a community event for developers, by developers. Traditionally it is hosted in person and 100% free. This year, to ensure safety for all participants it will be online-only, and will additionally serve as a fundraiser to help local individuals adversely impacted by COVID-19.
While NOVA Code Camp will focus first and foremost on local attendees and speakers (it will be in a local time zone), the new online venue will allow an expanded participation to include national and potentially even international attendees and speakers.
The fundraiser will support the "COVID-19 Response Fund for Northern Virginia", an organization that helps support those disproportionately impacted by Coronavirus and its Economic Consequences.
We hope you'll join us this year for an opportunity to learn from and network with peers, community experts, and industry leaders on a variety of platforms, languages, and technologies while supporting a good cause and helping out the local community.
If you are interested in speaking at Northern VA CodeCamp on Saturday September 26, 2020 please submit your session here.
Submissions should be development focused and technical in nature. If you have multiple topics, please submit them separately. Generally we will choose no more than one per person.
Because CodeCamp will be online-only this year the call for speakers will be open to speakers from any time zone. However, CodeCamp will be held from 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM in Eastern Time (UTC-04:00). Please indicate your time zone and if you have a preference for earlier or later in the day and we will take that into consideration.
You will hear back from our planning committee once the final selections have been made.
Deadline for speaker submissions is Wednesday September 2, 2020.
Thank you for your time and helping to make our event a success!
