For two days in June, testers, developers, DevOps and platform engineers, SREs and the leaders who run their teams will meet under one roof in Tallinn. Expect sharp talks, hands-on workshops, hallway conversations that carry on long after the sessions end, and our legendary party.

This is the first Nordic Tech Days, and the people on stage will set its tone. If you have hard-won lessons from the path between code and production, or from leading the people who work on it, we want to hear them. Submit your proposal and help shape what NTD becomes!

The call for papers for Nordic Tech Days (NTD) 2027 is open, and this year is a big one! Nordic Testing Days and Nordic DevOps Days are joining forces into one bigger event, keeping the NTD name our community already knows and loves.

What are we looking for?

Every session should give the audience a new skill, a step up in something they already do, or an experience to remember. We welcome both talks and hands-on workshops of 2 or 4 hours.

The program runs across several tracks under one theme: quality and delivery. Testing and DevOps are no longer split apart, so we are especially keen on sessions that connect the two, such as testing inside CI/CD pipelines, how platform choices affect product quality, or testing in production with observability. Deep, focused sessions on testing craft or on DevOps and platform practice are just as welcome. Topics we especially value include test automation and tooling, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, platform engineering and AI in practice.

New this year: the leadership track. A dedicated track for team leads, engineering and test managers, and CTOs. Share what you have learned about building a quality culture, organizing teams, measuring delivery, rolling out AI across a team, growing people or leading through change. Honest stories, including what did not work, are the most valuable.

We do not accept sessions that promote a tool, product, service or consultancy.

Target groups

  • Software developers
  • DevOps and platform engineers
  • Site reliability engineers (SREs)
  • Test and quality engineers, QA/QE specialists
  • Team leads and tech leads
  • Engineering managers and test managers
  • Heads and directors of engineering, CTOs

Conference format

NTD 2027 is a two-day, onsite event of talks and workshops across all tracks. We are not running tutorials this year.

  • Talks are 30 minutes: 1 minute for the introduction, 24 minutes for the talk and 5 minutes for Q&A.
  • Workshops run for 2 or 4 hours, including breaks, for up to 50 participants.

Some sessions will be recorded and published after the event, so please be aware that your presentation may be recorded.

Selection process

Here’s what you need to know about the process:

  • The content team reviews each proposal on its own merit and in the context of the other proposals.
  • If you include recordings of earlier talks, we will watch them.
  • If your proposal passes the first round, a member of the content team may invite you to a 10–15 minute Google Meet call to discuss it and answer questions on both sides.
