Øredev has its origins in, and focuses on the software development process, from programming to project management. We aim to create an event based on the concept of quality — for learning and networking — Sharing Knowledge.

The event gathers 100+ speakers giving 100+ talks on 8 stages during 3 intense days in November each year, and 2025 will be the 19th iteration. 

Our Philosophy

Having fun! Enjoying our time together, making connections and learning. We aim to constantly evolve and reinvent ourselves and each year is unique with new topics, new speakers, and new challenges.  

Additionally, Øredev has a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion, with a goal of promoting gender equality and supporting under-represented groups in the tech industry.

Øredev was founded in 2005 by Jayway, called Devoteam Creative Tech today, a design driven software studio with offices in Malmö, Stockholm, Gothenburg and Halmstad.
