OWASP Italy Day 2025 represents an opportunity to travel through the world of Application Security, in a historical moment where increasing emphasis is being placed on the security of software, digital infrastructures, and the protection of data and services.
During the event, we will explore the trends and dynamics shaping the Software Security landscape, gaining awareness of the technological tools, security policies, and regulatory instruments that must be put in place to ensure adequate protection of assets — both tangible and intangible — that are potential targets of attack. At the same time, we’ll also dive into the offensive side of security, with the opportunity to see hands-on demonstrations of how modern systems can be attacked, helping us better understand how to defend them.
The OWASP Italy Day 2025 will be anticipated in Cagliari by the APWG Tech Summit and Research Forum that will take place on June 17-18, offering thus a three-day broad perspective on cybersecurity and cybercrime-related aspects.
The event is also endorsed by (ISC)², and participation qualifies for CPE credits for holders of professional security certifications. It will also be a valuable opportunity to connect with the local security community and exchange experiences in a collaborative and open environment.
