The P4 Workshop event is an opportunity for the P4 ecosystem to share knowledge, insights, and experiences across the broader community and to facilitate collaboration. It will take place on October 12, 2026, in Silicon Valley, California (venue will be announced soon).

We invite innovative and thought-provoking submissions that offer unique perspectives from both industry and academia. This year’s Workshop theme is Building AI-Native Networks with P4, but we also encourage proposals about the following topics:

+ P4 language
+ P4 targets
+ P4 tool chain
+ P4 use cases & applications
+ Control plane or network OS for P4 targets
+ Extensions to P4
+ Cross-cutting work between P4 and related systems such as eBPF, service meshes, and AI systems (e.g. in-network support for AI training and inference)

The Technical Program Committee (TPC), composed of P4 community members, will review all submissions, make selections, and inform each speaker of their decision to accept or deny each proposal.

We highly encourage speakers to attend the Workshop to present in person, but if you are unable to attend, the TPC will be accepting a limited number of pre-recorded presentations. Please note that we don’t provide visa sponsorship for this event.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:

There are four submission formats. Please indicate if you plan to attend in person or prefer to pre-record your talk with each submission:

- In-Depth Talk: 30-minute total (up to 25 minutes for presentation, followed by Q&A).
- Lightning Talk: 10-minute total (up to 5 minutes for presentation, followed by Q&A).
- Tabletop Demo
- Poster

For in-depth talks, please submit a two-page summary of your presentation. For other types of submissions, please submit a one-page outline of what you plan to present.
