Thank you for your interest in speaking at POSETTE: An Event for Postgres 2026, a free & virtual developer event organized by the Postgres team at Microsoft—and now in its 5th year. POSETTE’s 4 unique livestreams are scheduled for Jun 16-18, 2026. Speakers will present their talks remotely for video pre-recordings which will be done in advance of the event—and may do the pre-recordings in their own timezone. Please read on to learn more.

First time speakers & Experienced speakers are both welcome! If you are a first-time speaker and are not sure whether to submit, we encourage you to do so! And feel free to reach out for advice/guidance on the #posetteconf channel on our Discord (link below.)

Remote friendly, no travel required: Talks are pre-recorded remotely—all you need is a good internet connection, a decent webcam and microphone, some good light, and the talk. The organizers will take care of the pre-recording and video production of your talk.

Format & logistics of the event:

  • Talks will be 25 minutes long.
  • All talks will be in English.
  • All talks will be pre-recorded by the POSETTE team in advance of the event (with you presenting remotely.)
  • Pre-recordings will be scheduled for the weeks of Apr 20th and Apr 27th.
  • All pre-recorded talks will be livestreamed in one of the 4 livestreams on Jun 16-18.
  • Speakers will be asked to participate in the online text chat during the livestream of their talk on Jun 16-18.
  • All talks will be published online right after the event (e.g. on YouTube), so a video of your talk will be accessible to anyone with an internet connection.
  • Published talks will include high-quality captions for accessibility.
  • High-res 1000x1000 speaker bio pics are required, so please don't wait until the last minute to submit!
