We are pleased to invite speakers for the Power BI Gebruikersdag 2026, a community-driven gathering of three entire days where we ensure a fantastic experience for both speakers and attendees. 

The entire event is dedicated to learning, knowledge sharing, and community building around Power BI. In fact, we are the biggest Power BI user group in the entire world, and this is your opportunity to speak at the next edition! 

Whether your focus is data modeling, storytelling with visuals, or real-world Power BI implementations. This is an opportunity to share your insights and contribute to the wider Power BI community.

🎤 Call for Speakers – Power BI Gebruikersdag 2026

🧠 Session Formats

Choose the format that best fits your content:

• Day 1: Precon Thursday – A full day of training designed for a select group. Get into a single topic, with sessions for both beginners and more experienced users.

• Day 2: Deep Dive Friday – Engage in 90-minute sessions that explore both business and technical aspects of Power BI. According to this year's speakers: "90 minutes is the perfect length — long enough to dive deep, short enough to keep listeners’ attention."

• Day 3: Community Saturday – The main event day, accessible and affordable for all. With 10 rooms and four rounds of 60-minute sessions, it’s the busiest day, packed with practical insights and new inspiration!

Note: Every session must include a Power BI component. Microsoft Fabric content is welcome as long as it is clearly connected to Power BI.

Sessions may be delivered in English or Dutch.

👥 Audience Profile

Our attendees are primarily hands-on BI professionals, but there are also decision-makers present.

The typical audience includes professionals such as: BI Developers, Data Engineers, BI Analysts, Visualization experts, UX Designers, Data Architects and Data Managers.

Expect a knowledgeable crowd eager for pragmatic insights and actionable take aways.

We strongly encourage new voices. If selected, you’ll be paired with an experienced speaker buddy to guide you through preparation and delivery.

📍Event venue 

The event will be held at Jaarbeurs Utrecht, conveniently located within walking distance from Utrecht Central station. It offers a direct connection to Schiphol Airport, with just a 30-minute journey to reach Utrecht. Perfect for both local and international speakers!

🌟 Speaker benefits

This entire event is organized by passionate volunteers and run by a non-profit organization. We deeply appreciate our speakers and aim to provide the best experience possible, though, as a non-profit, there are some limitations to what costs we can cover.

Conference pass - All accepted speakers receive a complimentary two-day pass to the Power BI Gebruikersdagen 2026 on Friday and Saturday.

Speakers dinner - On the Friday 6th of March, with great food ánd great company. This special event offers a great opportunity to connect with your peers (+1 not allowed). 

Compensation PreCon – Speakers on Thursday receive 75 euros for each registered attendee

Hotel accommodation – Speakers from outside the Netherlands will be provided with a hotel room for the night preceding their session(s). 

Travel - Please be aware that we do not cover any travel costs

🎯 Selection Criteria

After submission, you will receive an automatic confirmation. You will be notified within 2 weeks after CFS closes whether your session has been accepted.

Selection is based on several factors, including the relevance, originality, and appeal of your topic. We aim to have a diverse range of speakers, including both beginners and experienced speakers, and we are looking for a variety of topics that resonate with the community's needs and interests.

💡Tip: make sure your title and description are clear and engaging to increase your chances of being selected! For example: what are key take aways, or what problem does your session resolve?
