Data Streaming Summit (formerly Pulsar Summit) is the premier conference for the data streaming community, welcomes professionals from around the world to connect, learn, and innovate in the realms of Apache Pulsar, Kafka, and beyond. This gathering attracts a diverse audience comprising CTOs/CIOs, developers, data architects, data scientists, Apache Pulsar committers/contributors, and enthusiasts from the messaging and streaming domain.
Over the past four years, Pulsar Summit events globally have featured 100+ interactive sessions delivered by esteemed tech leads, open-source developers, software engineers, and architects representing renowned organizations such as Salesforce, Splunk, Verizon Media, Iterable, Yahoo! JAPAN, TIBCO, OVHcloud, Clever Cloud, and many others. These conferences have drawn in over 3,000 attendees, including professionals from leading tech, fintech, and media companies like Google, Microsoft, AMEX, Salesforce, Disney, and Paypal.
This year, Data Streaming Summit is set to take place in-person from Monday, October 28th to Tuesday, October 29th, 2024, at The Grand Hyatt SFO. Join us for two days of insightful sessions, hands-on training led by industry experts, and networking opportunities to explore the latest advancements and best practices in data streaming technologies, including Apache Pulsar and Kafka

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming Data Streaming Summit from October 28-29, 2024, organized by StreamNative in San Francisco!
Do you have a Pulsar or Kafka journey to share? Our theme this year is "Data Streaming and AI" and we are looking for stories that are innovative, informative, or thought-provoking. Join us to speak at the summit! You will be on stage with all the top Pulsar and Kafka thought-leaders. It is a great way to participate and raise your profile in the rapidly growing Apache Pulsar and Kafka communities.
As a speaker, you will receive:
- Free conference pass.
- Your headshot, bio, and session featured on the Data Streaming Summit website.
- Your session will be promoted on YouTube, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- The opportunity to share your knowledge and engage with the vibrant Pulsar and Kafka communities!
To speak at the summit, please submit an abstract about your presentation. Remember to keep your proposal short, relevant, and engaging. We invite you to submit your talk proposals and share your unique experience in one of the following themes:
"Data Streaming and AI" - In today's data-driven world, the convergence of data streaming technologies like Pulsar and Kafka with AI opens up endless possibilities. Share your journey of leveraging Pulsar or Kafka in combination with AI to solve real-world problems. Whether it's building real-time AI models for predictive analytics, implementing AI-driven anomaly detection in streaming data, or optimizing data processing pipelines with machine learning, your experiences are invaluable. Let others learn from your challenges, triumphs, and innovative solutions at the intersection of data streaming and AI.
"Learning Pulsar and Kafka" - Are you an educator at heart? Submit an entry-level talk introducing Pulsar or Kafka, its remarkable features, and best practices. Help beginners navigate their Pulsar or Kafka journey and inspire them with your expert knowledge.
"Deep Dive on Data Streaming" - For all the experts out there, we invite you to share deep technical knowledge about Pulsar or Kafka. Whether it’s about the inner workings, optimization techniques, or advanced features, we’d love to hear it all.
"Data Streaming ecosystem" - Have you built exceptional tools to work with Pulsar and Kafka? Or have you integrated a data streaming platform with other technologies to create a superior solution? We’d love to hear about your innovations.
Your submission should include:
- Session title
- Session description (200 words max)
- Speaker bio (100 words max)
- Track selection.
Sessions should have content that can fill 30 minutes plus 10 minutes of Q&A.
Important Dates:
- CFP opens: Monday, June 24, 2024
- CFP closes: Friday, August 9, 2024
- Speaker notifications sent: Friday, August 16, 2024
- Schedule announcement: Friday, September 13, 2024
- Submissions are open until Monday, July 29, 2024. Dates subject to change.
