Dates to Remember

• CFP opens: Thursday, April 25, 2024.
• CFP closes: Monday, June 17, 2024.
• CFP Notifications: on Monday, July 22, 2024.

Our Criteria for Selection

• We embrace diversity: we welcome proposals from people whose voices we might not hear as often.
• Original content: content not yet presented at other conferences or a fresh perspective or solution to an existing problem
• New presenters are welcomed: we encourage newcomers with unique insights to contribute. We want to hear everybody's voice.
• No vendor pitches: This is not the right forum if you want to sponsor and have a spot. For sponsorship inquiries, contact events@pulumi.com with "PulumiUP Sponsorship" in the subject line.

Talk Types

• Submission limit: you may submit up to 2 proposals.
• Video recordings: the sessions will be recorded and made available at the time of the conference
• Formats accepted: we welcome talks in the 15-minute Lightning Talk format and the traditional 30-minute session format.
• Selection process: due to limited 30-minute slots, competition may be intense. The organizing committee will vote to determine the selected presentations.

The Different Themes / Topics

• Infrastructure as Code: Explore the realm of cloud computing, encompassing infrastructure as code, scalable architectures, cloud service integration, and cloud providers and technology like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless technologies.
• Platform Engineering & DevOps: Dive into essential topics such as streamlined CI/CD practices, building and customizing cloud-native platforms, automating infrastructure operations, optimizing self-service workflows, building IDP best practices, and enhancing developer experiences.
  
• AI / ML: Delve into AI and ML best practices, tools, and techniques for implementing algorithms, deploying models, and optimizing workflows like MLOps and AIOps.
• Cloud Culture: Focus on the human experience within the tech industry and how fostering an environment that values diversity, inclusivity, developer experience (DevEx), and collaboration can enhance productivity, innovation, and personal and business success.

Demos are welcome but indicate the cloud and any other technology used.
