Pwnterrey Call For Papers, Workshops & Activities

We seek passionate speakers and workshop leaders to share their expertise at Pwnterrey 2025. Together, we'll create an exceptional event.

Talks

We seek technical and innovative presentations exploring system and technology vulnerabilities. Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Red Team / Blue Team
  • Tool Development
  • Exploitation/Proof of Concept (PoC)
  • Security Research
  • Application Security
  • Penetration Testing
  • Vulnerability Disclosure
  • Digital Forensics and Incident Response
  • Threat Hunting
  • Mobile Devices
  • Security Architecture
  • Embedded Systems
  • Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
  • Security and Privacy Management
  • Miscellaneous

We seek content that provides significant value to the community, therefore, talks must stand out for their originality, technical depth, and practical approach. To better evaluate the value and originality of your proposal, we invite you to provide detailed information and supplementary materials that help us understand it thoroughly.

Talks will be 30 to 40 minutes long, with an additional 10-minute Q&A session where the audience can interact with speakers.

For a better experience, we recommend preparing high-quality videos that clearly illustrate concepts and techniques. Additionally, it's important to maintain local backups of all resources needed for the presentation.

Workshops

Workshops should be designed to provide an immersive, hands-on educational experience. All workshops will have a maximum duration of 2.5 hours, allowing for deep exploration of the topic while maintaining active participant engagement.

To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend designing workshops to function with minimal internet usage, thus ensuring their continuity regardless of connectivity conditions.

Important Considerations

  • Content must focus on technical aspects and practical knowledge.
  • Commercial presentations and service demonstrations will not be accepted.
  • Ensure your talk or workshop is relevant to the event and that you have reviewed all provided information.
  • Provide sufficient details in the "Activity Details" section so we can understand and evaluate your proposal.
  • The photograph you provide will be used in promotional materials, website, and other media along with your biography.
  • Ensure that the material included in your presentation does not violate copyright, as it will be published on the website after the conference.
  • Pwnterrey will not cover speakers' travel expenses.

If you have any questions, concerns, or need clarification about the submission process or any other aspect of the event, don't hesitate to contact us. Our team is available to help you and ensure your participation in Pwnterrey is successful.

Knowledge flourishes when support backs it; together we make the impossible possible. Join Pwnterrey and make a difference!
